Foxglove Manor OOC

Hello everyone, I want to start by thanking the people in the game for giving this place a chance.

I’m very sorry, but I will be closing the game and there will be no further updates. There has been a lot going on offline in the last few months, both personally and due to work issues. I have been putting this decision off for a while now, hoping things would get better at least enough to be able to have the focus to continue working on the game (and RP in general).

Unfortunately, things have not improved on either front. It’s really not fair to you all to keep dragging things out, as well as providing subpar game updates and there being a continued lack of presence on my part. I will leave the community as is so people may wrap up threads they want to wrap up, so you’re all welcome to do that if you like.

Again, I thank the people who stuck around and interacted and indulged my silly ideas. I really appreciated it and enjoyed getting to work on stuff with you all.

As an aside from the mod announcement, because I will also be dropping/away from RP indefinitely until things improve. As I can’t really give an estimate on that, nor blame anyone who might not want to keep me around without RP-related-ties, there are no hard feelings if anyone wants to unfriend me anywhere (Discord etc). I am very sorry for any disappointment over unfinished threads/cr.

Welcome to March!

I’m pleased to announce the first seasonal mingle to get the game into its proper calendar routine will be posted on March 15th, 2024, being forward dated to the actual event date to give people more time with it. There will be an invitational message left in character’s IC inboxes with the link like with the welcome log. It’s time for spring and for more of the manor and its surrounding world to wake up!

Important housekeeping from February

Okay! So, as promised, there are gifts for each character from February and they will be waiting for them on the character’s nightstand. Each is a small creature, made of ceramic and looks hand painted with charming, whimsical details and colours.

Please note, these gifts are not actually from Theo. They’re from someone else :3c… She will not know where they came from (but she suspects), and though cautious, after checking them for herself will deem them safe. In fact, they are charmed figures to protect each character from bad dreams if left on the nightstand in the character’s bedroom!

Angeal – A dog figure
Dion – A cat figure
Elena – A hedgehog figure
Genesis – A falcon figure
Jean – A songbird figure
Sigma – A jellyfish figure
Waver – A ferret figure

Important:
SO! The figures are yours to describe (ex. breed/colours/style are yours to choose). I have just given you the basic creature to work with. If you feel that your character would be more suited to a different creature, you are welcome to drop a comment below and we can change it up. I did my best to pick a variety of things I thought would suit or be interesting for the characters, but I am not perfect lol. The only thing off the table are mythical/folkloric creatures.

Also important to note! Without giving away too many details, these figures will come into play in an entirely different way in July’s event! Which is why I would like to ensure that you guys like what the character has!

For those wondering, new characters apped will have ways of obtaining one as well.
